Problem 2 )Even after the fallout of the kiss, both boys were pining for Kennedy.Įven during the kiss between Liam and Curtis, Kennedy was still present living rent free in their heads. Liam's family were given the bare minimum, Curtis 's family was similar. I felt like Kennedy's character was the most fleshed out, as a reader I know her favourite foods, family dynamic, interests, favourite drinks and periods cycle. Problem 1) This book was 60% Kennedy, 20% Liam, 10% Curtis and 10% other. For real.I had serious problems with Kennedy's personality. Like seriously Liam knew what Curtis wanted to study for college while Kennedy's biggest plan was how to get Curtis naked. Especially since Liam understood Curtis more than Kennedy even when he hated Curtis. I especially liked how the relationship dynamic was always respecting autonomy despite the ongoing tension.įor me Kennedy's relationship with Curtis was painful, there was no chemistry, no energy and basically no future.

I liked how all the TBR characters had distinct personalities, Curtis a commerce health nerd, Kennedy a vegan activist, Erin responsible and snarky (can I have Erin's story Spencer, I need it bad), Bonnie wild child with a kind heart and my bae Liam who shares my love for anime and lollipops. It was obvious Curtis was always attracted to Liam even when he was with Kennedy 'I smile down at her, and then, unable to help myself check Liam's reaction', (Curtis, denial is not just a river in Egypt).Īnd Liam despite all his snark is not entirely resistant to Curtis –or his shoulders–.
